ALTE's 63rd Meeting and Conference will be hosted by The Foreign Language Centre at the University of Pécs and it will take place in Pécs, Hungary, from 5th- 7th November 2025.
The first 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday) of the event are open only to representatives of ALTE Full Members/Associate Members and Individual Expert Members and have been organised as face to face only. These will feature committee meetings, SIGs (Special Interest Groups), and the ALTE Annual General Meeting (AGM). Attendance to the AGM is encouraged for all Members (Full Members, Associate Members, and Individual Expert Members).
Friday 7th November 2025 will be an open conference day for all those with an interest in the field of language testing. ALTE colleagues will be able to attend online the plenary sessions on the Conference Day.
The theme of the conference day will be:
Novel Approaches for Accessibility and Inclusivity within Standardized Language Testing
The plenary sessions on Friday 7th November, (9:30–13:00 CET) will be live streamed and video recorded. The colleagues attending online will receive a Zoom link nearer the time.
The video recordings of the plenary sessions will be made available on the ALTE website after the event. Please note, the parallel workshops on Friday afternoon will not be live streamed or video recorded.

Contributions to the host organisers of the event (ECL) should be paid by each representative from ALTE Members/Associate Members/Individual Expert Members, as follows:
- €70 for in-person attendance;
- €15 for online attendance

FIRST STEP
Click on the ‘Register’ button on the left-hand side of this webpage and fill in the registration form on the ALTE website.
SECOND STEP
Pay the contribution fee to the host organisation (€70/€15 per each representative of ALTE Members/Associate Members/Individual Expert Members). More info on how to make the payment is available in the Practical information document (page 4).
After completing the 2 steps above the registration is complete.
The deadline for the registration is Monday 20th October 2025.
Cancellation Policy: if you can’t attend the event anymore, please inform that ALTE Secretariat as soon as possible, sending an email to secretariat@alte.org.
A full refund of the registration fees (€70/€15) is possible for cancellations. Requests for a refund can be submitted at any time up to the day of the conference by contacting borbas.kinga@pte.hu. Please note, the refund procedure may take some time, and we kindly ask for your patience during this period.
