Registration for ALTE 9th International Conference

Registration for ALTE's 9th International Conference opens on 1 September 2025 and closes on 3 April 2026.

Presenters must register by 31 January 2026.

Registration fees include:

  • access to all plenaries, parallel sessions, including workshops, panels and showcase presentations;
  • coffee breaks across the three day conference;
  • lunch on Thursday;
  • networking reception on Thursday evening hosted by Goethe-Institut
  • access to the exhibition area

The prices for the conference have been set as realistic and affordable for attendees by the Trustees of ALTE, and are lower in cost than anticipated due to generous funding by our sponsors as well as ALTE itself. Early booking and group bookings are encouraged to make use of further discounts. If you are a Full Member, Individual Expert Member or Associate Member, make sure to log in to the ALTE website to receive the relevant discounts. Current bachelors, masters and PhD students are also eligible for a lower rate: to obtain this you will need to provide proof of student status when you register.

Early bird rates are available six weeks before the event, i.e. by (and including) Tuesday 3rd March 2026.  As all presenters need to register by 31 January 2026, they can also take advantage of the early bird rate. Bookings made from Wednesday 4th March 2026 onwards will pay the Standard rate. 


Group bookings must be for three people registering in one instance, providing names of all three people. Group bookings for Full Members and Associate Members must contain three people from the same member organisation

Payment and Cancellation policy

Payment is in full when registering. Payment can only be made online using a Visa, MasterCard or American Express. In case of cancellation up until one month before the conference (15th March 2026), the full amount will be refunded minus a €30 administration fee for individual bookings or €90 administration fee for group bookings. In case of cancellation after 15th March 2026, no refunds can be made

Certificate of attendance / presentation

ALTE can send out certificates of attendance (and presentation) in electronic format only. These will only be sent out on request, and not as a matter of course to everybody. Please request a certificate by writing to secretariat@alte.org. Please note that electronic certificates will be sent out after the conference, in May 2026, to those who have requested a certificate and attended the conference.
