With thanks to our sponsors...

ALTE wishes to thank the sponsors of the 9th International Conference, which has allowed us to run this exciting event!

HOST AND CONFERENCE PARTNER: GOETHE INSTITUT

The Goethe-Institut is one of the founding members of ALTE and has been an active Full member ever since.

The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany and promotes German language, culture and international exchange.  In addition to language exams, the Goethe-Institut offers language courses both online and on site, and free online learning material. The Goethe-Institut's exams cover all levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): starting at A1 for beginners to C2 for the most advanced learners. The exams are offered in almost 500 centres worldwide. Since 2019, the Goethe-Institut has been gradually introducing digital exams at its exam centres.

The certificates of the Goethe-Institut are recognised as evidence of German language proficiency by visa authorities, employers and educational institutions in many countries. They are used as proof of German language competence in the context of migration and integration, family reunion and citizenship application.

In Munich, you will find both the Goethe-Institut's headquarters (Oskar-von-Miller-Ring) and the local branch office (Rablstraße), the latter one offering language courses and exams.

ALTE - the Association of Language Testers in Europe is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered in England, charity number 1184799.
