Public transportation
The S-Bahn (city train) stop is called “Rosenheimer Platz”. The stop is underground and the conference hotel is located directly above.
If you arrive in Munich by plane: At Munich Airport you will find the train station located underground below the MAC (Munich Airport Center). Just follow the signs with the green "S" logo (S-Bahn). Take the S8 toward “Herrsching” (frequency of departure: every 20 minutes). Exit at “Rosenheimer Platz”. The ride will take approx. 40 minutes and the ticket costs around €15.
If you arrive in Munich by train: At Munich Central Station you will also find the S-Bahn station located underground. Follow the signs with the green "S" logo. Take one of the many trains that go towards “Ostbahnhof” (it doesn’t matter which one, they all stop at “Rosenheimer Platz”). The ride will take approx. 6 minutes and the ticket costs around €5.
Check out group or day tickets if you are travelling in a group and/or planning further journeys on the same day, as these are usually cheaper.

It is not always possible to buy the ticket inside the vehicle (train, bus or tram) and you will be charged with a penalty without a valid ticket.
