REQUEST AN ALTE COURSE AT YOUR EVENT

If you're organising a conference, a symposium, a training or any other type of event, internal or external, and think that an ALTE course could enhance the event, ALTE Services Unit will be more than happy to help organise it.

ALTE has now opened the feature of requesting an ALTE course to take place at an event organised by another organisation, both by  ALTE member organisations and also by
organisations that aren't ALTE members.

We can deliver any course from the below list, or create a course that suits your needs.

The courses that we can currently run at your event are:

  • Basic Rasch Analysis course
  • Basic Statistics for language testing
  • Introduction to ALTE and language testing concepts
  • Introduction to Standard Setting
  • The use of the CEFR and CEFR Companion Volume 2020
  • CEFR Benchmarking
  • bespoke training - to be agreed with ALTE Services Unit

The courses will need to be budgeted for - and the travel and accommodation for the tutor(s)
will have to be covered.

In order for ALTE to organise such a course, the tutor(s) will need to be available, and the dates will have to be communicated to the tutors as soon as possible.

If you believe that an ALTE course could enhance your event, please contact us and we will do our best to facilitate that:
