This Consultancy is designed to provide the responsible leaders with knowledge, insights and tools that allow them plan, introduce and integrate a sound and reliable AI strategy for language testing organisations.

This Consultancy service was created as a response to the questions and inquiries that ALTE has received in the past three years with regard to AI and how it’s changing the landscape of language testing. It was also created because a lack of clear strategy became evident at organisations that, despite having the tools, knowledge and skills, weren’t sure which direction they should choose, and which elements of AI they should use to benefit from.  

Each consultancy will be tailored to the needs of a particular organisation, and a comprehensive programme will consist of the following:

   • An analysis of the already existing (and hidden) use of AI in the organisation.

   • Dismantling misconceptions.

4. Piloting, implementation & workflow integration:

   • This is the hands-on phase where the strategy is put to the test.

5. Validation, Monitoring and Governance

   • Creation of a lasting framework for the strategy.

Why ALTE?

ALTE has been keeping a close eye on the developments of AI and its meaning for the language testing landscape for many years. Through ALTE courses, consultancies and also at ALTE conferences, we have witnessed how the developments in AI affect and re-shape language testing world, but we have also noticed that a lack of clear and structured strategy is the predominant problem. Staff coming to our courses receive the knowledge and skills, but the lack of strategy often makes it impossible to implement what they learned.
