This half-day pre-conference course is aimed at those who want to learn about the Rasch analysis for language testing.
The course provides an introduction to the basics of the Rasch analysis techniques. It is suitable for pre- and post-testing of items in receptive skills tests.
The course is led by Jane Lloyd (Cambridge University Press and Assessment), an experienced tutor and expert in the field.
It takes place in the afternoon, just after the half-day Statistics for Language Testing course. Although not obligatory, ALTE advises to come to both courses, as this will be more beneficial.
Please note that participants are advised to bring their own laptops for this course.
A more detailed programme will be available closer to the date.
